Quantum Heat Pump

How Does it Work?
A Quantum Solar Heat Pump makes use of the heat in the ambient air around the system, and a reverse refrigeration process to heat the water. This means the sun doesn’t need to be shining, and what’s more, it’s so efficient that it can provide reliable hot water 24 hours a day, even in temperatures as low as -10°C with no booster element.
Quantum Heat Pump
Air Induction
The heat pump draws in surrounding air into the evaporator, which contains a refrigerant that boils at a very low temperature.
Heating Process
As the refrigerant boils, it's compressed, raising its temperature significantly, turning it into super-heated vapor.
Heat Transfer
This super-heated vapor is then fed through copper coils wrapped around the water tank (using Quantum’s patented Tank Wrap™ technology). The coils heat the water evenly and efficiently from the outside in.
Cold Air Expulsion
After the heat is transferred to the water, the now cold air is expelled from the system by a fan. The heat pump enters an energy-saving standby mode until heating is needed again.
